Supporting your choices at the end of life

   Rights Guide

The Guide to Your Rights at the End of Life was first published in 2008 and looks at patients' rights in England and Wales since the introduction of the Mental Capacity Act.  It was recently updated and re-issued for 2011.

It aims to help people to get the information they need to make informed choices about their own end-of-life care, or to support a loved one to prepare for the end of life.  To order a booklet version of the Guide to Rights, contact the Information Line free on 0800 999 2434 (lines are open between 11am and 3pm Monday to Friday).
