Compassion in Dying aims to support people to have what they consider to be a good death by empowering them to access the care and support that is right for them at the end of life. A vital part of this is preparation - making informed decisions about care and treatment in advance can ensure that others are aware of your wishes, meaning that you won't have to worry about them at a time when you may prefer to rest or spend time with loved ones.
Another important preparation is making sure that you have an up-to-date will. We hope that planning end-of-life care will soon be as common as planning what happens to your property and financial affairs after you die.
